Nismo Front + 19's... do you scrape?

Those of you that have the Nismo front bumper and 19" wheels, do you scrape? If so, how often and is your car lowered? The car will be my daily driver with that setup. Not sure if I should lower or not. I know it will look a lot better, but I scrape once in a while as it is right now with the stock bumper/wheels/suspension.

I'm lowered on Hotchkis springs and the only place I scrape is whenever I'm backing out of the driveway and don't take my time - but as long as you are somewhat cautious about steep inclines, speed bumps, etc (trust me, you will be cautious after you hear that hideous sound the first time!) you should be ok...

Just dont pull all the way up in parking spots. I have the S-techs and the only time i;ve scraped was because i pulled up too far in a spot and hit the triangle stop thing.

I don't scrape and I'm on 19's. You'll be good as long as you pull into a driveway at an angle. After I install my coilovers, I don't think it will be as pretty. One thing you've gotta watch out for is pulling into parking spots... IF YOU HIT the parking curb every so slightly, the curb will take a chunk off your bumper. It really won't be pretty then.. lol

And since we are all posting pictures of our cars with the bumper on...

=D

yep, the only *slightly* visible marking I have on the bumper is from nudging a parking block - from now on, I always make sure I'm at least 6+ inches away from it...

sorry, I'm going to use your thread to try to test if I know how to post a pic directly to the page w/o using attachments (I'm not the most computer-savvy)

I was just looking at the Nismo front bumper. It looks beautiful. May I ask where you purchased it from. Also, any tips on the installation?

Thank you!
