JDM Emblems in stock @ EVERYTHINGG35
Hey guys and gals,
I have had my G for over 3 weeks and have been checking EVERYTHINGG35's website to see when the "SKYLINE" emblem would be available. If you ever read the description, it mentions that this part is on back order at Nissan.
Well...I know that website maintenance is not their core business and so I decided to make a call and see if it whether or not it the back order claim was still valid. To my delight, it is not!
I ordered my "SKYLINE" and "350GT" emblems yesterday at 2:30pm EST and I am happy to say that 15minutes ago (less than 20hrs later-yeah, I'm impatient) I have them!
So if you've been waiting, wait no more! And if you're going to buy, definitely buy from EVERYTHINGG35.
Also, not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but they will be removing the 2005 plenum that is on pre-order because after doing some tests, they found that it reduces power in the lower RPM's and then slightly increases it on the very high end. (sorry this is a vauge report, but it's all I was told)

I have both of those items on order from them, as well as the Gialla grill. Wait time on the grill is supposed to be 6-8 weeks. I'm in week 7 now. Hopefully it was these badges that my order was waiting on and not the grill. I'm getting anxious, but don't want to call for status until the 8 weeks is up.

I hadn't heard that they were cancelling the release of the 2005 lower plenum. I knew that they had changed the lower plenum in the '05 to increase horsepower and that it was really only evident in the higher RPM's, but the fact that they're not even going to release it as an "upgrade" part for those with the '03 or '04 makes it seem like they now realize they made a mistake with that. That should make the owners/buyers of '05 G35 coupes somewhat leary, because that lower plenum is what is included stock on all '05 coupes. I wonder if now they'll be releasing an "'03-'04 lower plenum" for those that bought the '05 and aren't happy with it's lower RPM performance??

Seems to correlate with the limited reviews we have so far of the new VQ. Less low end, more high end, but an overall more peaky, ultimately SLOWER engine.
