EXACTLY where do JDM emblems go on my G?

Okay, so my morning was going really good and then got even better when my JDM emplems arrived at my desk (SWEET!).

Then a slight fear came over me, where exactly do these things go?!!?

Common sense tells me that they go where the old emblems were. Meaning:
"SKYLINE" goes over the area where "INFINITI" was and the "350GT" goes where the "G35" was.

I can see that the "SKYLINE" is basically the same height and width of the "INFINITI", so that really is a no brainer. And the above is literally true regarding its placement.

Unfortunately, the "350GT" is slightly shorter and wider than "G35". So I ask, "where exactly is this emblem on a JDM car?" Does anyone really know this or are you guys just placing it on using a best-guess method? (for example, I was thinknig that matching the top right corners or the "G35" and the "350GT" wouldn't look too bad, but I wanted the official placement first)

And if you do know exactly where, some pics would be great to see of the "350GT" placement.

Thanks!
Larry

Your best bet......do a google search of the Japanese version Nissan Skyline 350GT....and look at pics of the real deal.
See where the factory places them

The 350GT emblem does go exactly where the G35 emblem is located. Very minor changes in positioning may be called for to compensate for the change in dimensions.

Larry if you look at the foam piece that holds the 350GT emblem its actually contoured with the lines of your tailight. Simply line it up with the exterior of the passenger side tailight and you're done (ohhh but remove the G35 emblem first )

always a comedian in the crowd....

Birdman, the foam on my "350GT" emblem does not have the same shape as my tail light. It's off, slightly. This is me maybe being too **** I guess.

Birdman's suggestion does offer some idea as how to line it up horizontally. I think it looks as though the emblem's right edge matches up with the "g35" emblem's edge. The height is the only thing in question. I guess since no one is going to pull up in a real 350GT, I can put it anywhere, plus we're talking +/- 5 millimeter difference.

Thanks,
Larry

Yea I noticed something similar when I was putting mine on too. It matches pretty close with the leading edge of the tailight but its off slightly. I'm not sure if this was an error when they were cutting out the template or if all emblem pieces are like this. Basically use it to get your basic alignments down then eyeball it to get it perfect. Thats what I did and honestly there is know way you can tell a difference.
