Tires

FYI - Not that I need them with only 3300 miles on the clock but I just priced out the OEM Pilot Sports on tirerack.com and WOW!!! $1054 w/o shipping/mounting/balancing.
The S03 Pole Positions, which IMO are better wet tires, not sure if they are better dry, are a much better $ deal. Something to consider down the road.

Re: Tires

I've heard the same thing with the Pilots. A very good performance tire but pricey.
I'll go for the S03's at replacement time too. They'll last longer and a lot cheaper.

Re: Tires

Has anyone tried the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3? They don't have the stock sizes, but 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 should work. The are rated higher than the Pilots and the S03 on Tirerack.

Re: Tires

275 40s on a 8 inch rim will look pretty doughnut like... I know the fat tire look your after ... but I think you may not be happy ...

have you noticed how the stock front being 225 45 bevel inwards and look lower profile than the stock rears being 245 45 s .... and how the rears looks fatter and dont bevel in as much ?... now imagine what a 275 tire will do .... 40 is step in the right direction but 30 would be better if you can get it... keeping it closer to the stock height and more so look.

later man
