The rims should have been the only thing done in black. The awkwardness of the grill, corner lip, and rear splash guards make it look like the days when I would grab a Sharpie and color my Hot Wheels to a much "cooler" black. Sure, it worked for the toy but man, this car ain't a 99 cent purchase at Toys r Us...
Sometimes uniqueness for the sake of uniqueness is not enough or even justifiable...Sorry, but it's not working for me.

I do agree with your title "different than your typical G."
That is because typically, owners of G35's have taste. What you have is a car that has lost its identity, as well as it's class.
I think there is a reason your car is so different. It's because it isn't necessarily a "good" different. You won't have to worry about anyone copying your look though. I guess that's a good thing.
Although I sound like a total ***** here, I will say "to each his own." If you love the look, then kudos to you. Don't be upset if others aren't as enthusiastic about it though.

Exactly what everyone has said Lou what are you doing to your poor car. The reason why its so different and its rare is because an Infiniti should not be put through this type of transformation. This is not personal just all black wheels and tires do not go well with a DG coupe, and the black grille has got to go it even looks like $150 grille. To me the fogs too look out of place, sorry for all the hating but a stock DG coupe looks 100 times better. All I have to say is why do some people rice out such a classy, sophisticated automobile and down grade them to civic levels.

thanks for your inputs but you guys make it sound like I was high on crack when I put on the rear splash guards. In actuallity the rear splash was part of a new look that I had to abort because it was too much money too spend on a temporary look. The only thing missing from my ground effects is the black nismo side skirts till I found out its gonna run me over $1K painted. The side skirts would have made the car wider in the sides and give it a Japanese two tone look again not what you guys are use to.
the car is stock and was never painted cause I prefer to paint parts which I can resell at any time.
I love my black wheels no matter how much you guys say they are ugly

I like it man. Props for going against the grain and sticking with what YOU like. It is funny, however, how people have such strong opinions in this thread that contradict what they say in another thread....especially on the topic of originality...but hey thats another post!
