Ahhh...didn't know that about the TL's, i know the CL type S came out in 2001 though. Yes the interior is improved on the 05, much better looking IMO...the only thing i miss from my CL-S is the automatic side view mirror, that mirror really helped me out, but everything else on the G is like better.
Our acura's had more than a "little" issue, the crappy transmission. I also had squeeks in the back, electrical problem (radio and lights) and I was about to go through another transmission when my lease was up. I've heard no problems yet about the 05's, but its too early to tell.

The ride on my Coupe is tight with much feedback. I like it. It even has a fairly smooth ride, perhaps not as smooth as the TL, but as an all round package, the ride is top notch.
The suspension is tight, the tires are wide, and the G is nimble and balanced.
To me, it's a great combination with no down side -- Definitely not a TL
Welcome to G35Driver BTW.
As was said, if you're looking for a great ride, with a good blend of sport and luxury, get yourself a G. It really is special.

man...I've always been a guy that didn't believe in buying a car brand new....but I've been reading here on the boards about the changes in the 05...the wheels are kinda growing on me after I checked one out at the dealer today...the interior does look better IMO...and of course theres the fact of more HP and supposed better high end power...I'm seriously considering dishing out the extra dough for an 05 now....f**k...
what kind of deal can I expect if I try to work them on an 05? I want a 6MT loaded including Nav, maybe without deck lid spoiler....anyone know the pricing on these? the local dealer only has like 4 in stock....and they aren't loaded...
