VPP (vehicle purchase program)
VPP (vehicle purchase program)
hi,
i just put a deposit down on a 05 MT today. i've been reading this board for about a month for research prior to buying my car. i haven't seen it mentioned, so i figure i would throw it out here just in case any of you are in the DFW area, or maybe you can take this to your local dealer and see if they will match. it looks like it is a national program, although not every infiniti dealership does it.
here is some info: http://insideinfiniti.com/
grubbs infiniti in DFW does VPP pricing if you are employed with certain companies on their list. it's a no-haggle discount that is supposedly $600 above invoice. i actually went to another dealership closer to where i live in dallas, and they did VPP pricing as well. the MSRP on my car was $37,030. the VPP pricing is $34,342. i didn't have to fight about the price for one second. they verified my employment and offered me the VPP price on the spot. they told me that infiniti kicks them back a small amount on VPP sales, and they replace the car on the lot, and i got a good price with no hassling (i was in and out in less than 30 minutes), so everyone is happy.
anyhow, my car is set to be delivered in 2 weeks! if someone else already posted this program, i apologize for re-posting it. also, i know that if you are military, grubbs will sell you an infiniti at invoice, because a friend of mine in the navy just got one, and the minute they found out he was military, they told him about the zero over invoice for military personnel.

That's great news for many of the local companies. Grubbs seems to lead the way for generous discounts for certain organizations. They currently are offering a new G for Active or Retired military for invoice cost including invoice cost on options. Being retired Coast Guard after 22 years of service this is a grat deal. To bad I don't live in DFW and bought my 04.5 Coupe in CA for $1000 over cost last november...
well looking over that VPP website, a lot of those companies are national, and it is stated on the program page that it is available to all infiniti dealerships. whether they will honor the program i think is up to the dealership.
