hey guys i'd thought i share something quite amusing with yall.

i was leaving my this guy's house which was a friend of my friend. my friend that knows him was with me in my car at the time. well, as i was leaving i was only in first gear and i passed by his Z that was on the street and for some reason his alarm went off. man i was so scared because i thought i cut in front of someone and they were honking at me. after the first 2 or 3 honks i realized it was actually that guy's Z going off madly and my friend and I started cracking up. it seemed like my exhaust had set his alarm off.

when we got back to my friend's house he IMed him and told him his alarm went off when we left. he said that his alarm was quite sensitive and also said "even if i move my trash can it would go off," and we started cracking up again. i'm assuming it was the stock alarm he had.

just a funny episode i thought you guys might like.

 

i dont think that it was a stock alarm. Im pretty sure you could smash every window on a G or Z and it wont go off, doesnt it only monitor the door and trunk locks? i agree people with aftermarket alarms need to adjust the sensitivity screw, but most dont know how or are too lazy, makes me wonder why they have an alarm, when it goes off all the time from false alrms...

 

ya i guess it was aftermarket. i just didn't think he did anything to it yet. i'll ask my friend next time. i hate super sensitive alarms. no one pays attention to them these days, what's the point...

 

Here in my neighborhood we get them ticketed and towed away. And it's not even a good neighborhood. We all just appreciate some peace and quiet between the gun battles.
