Last week , i saw some Jack*** in a beat up van , side swipe a parked fx45...Of course, he stopped to see what he did and then took off..... I wrote down the guys lic # and left it for the fx45 guy.... I wish some of that Good Karma would have come back my way yesterday... But as the last guy said... PEOPLE SUCK.....

way to get some good karma! that stuff is invaluable!

i got an estimate to replace and repaint my rear bumper just last week (i also got hit-and-run ). $1198. hope this helps.

Thanks for the info... You cant really make it out in the pics, but the bumper wasnt just knocked off the mounts, it was ripped..so i imagine theyll have to replace the whole bumper...unless they can glue it or something, which i doubt.....

Just dropped the car off at the body shop....New bumper, mouting hardware, painted and mounted $730+tax

It it makes you feel better, which it probably wont, someone keyed mine yesterday.........

I'm really sorry, man.... It sucks, i know. Get yourself a nasty bumper with the insurance money...

to put things in perspective, i had my bumper replaced with a new one and repainted ivory pearl for $950 in Queens. Actually, I ended up paying only $770 because the shop gives a discount for those who live in the neighborhood. I believe the place is called Woodside Collision on Qns Blvd.

Missing Valve Stem Covers

Kids in my neighborhood used to collect the ones of my car all the time untile I used some medium strength Locktite Thread Locker. No more disappearing valve stem covers.

Gfanatic, how does a non infiniti/nissan bodyshop get Factory Ivory pearl paint colormatched?? If this is a noob question sry!

cost of replacing a new rear bumper is around 600-800. I paid 600something for mine.
