Want to know if this is a good deal!!

When I purchased my G 2 weeks ago there was a scratch on the front bumper, the OEM front lip, and it had a license plate bracket in the front. I went and got an estimate to get both the scratches fixed and the holes from the bracket filled. The quote included respraying the entire front bumper. They said they would also be able to match the IP paint almost perfect. They quoted me a price of $380 to do all of the work and respray the bumber. Does this sound like a good deal? The quote is from a reputable body shop. Thanks!

I pointed it all out when I went to get the car. They said to come back and they would take care of it. The kicker to that story is that I asked them what process they used to do the paint work on the car and they said that their painter would blend the paint together after he did the body work. Correct me if I am wrong, but I heard that it was close to impossible to blend Ivory Pearl together, that you would actually have to respray the entire front bumper. They also told me that they would not fill the holes in the front bumper where the license plate bracket was. I called them the other day and told them that I wasnt going to take it to them, and they said they would pay a portion of whatever shop I took it to. I just dont want my car to look bad after it was fixed.

nice of Infiniti to offer to pay some....I think thats a good deal to have that work done. what city/state are you in? and I think a good painter can "blend" any color....it's all about the paint mix/match...

Is there anywhere around Delaware that does clear bra installs and does them well? Also, how much do clear bras usually cost? Thanks

380 sounds good + dealer will share part of the cost, even sweeter!

if i were u i'd wait till i have a bunch of paint chips then repaint, because you'll find out shortly that once you get it repainted you'll be driving and some stupid truck spits out some rocks right in your front bumper!!
