gas mileage problem update

So i have been getting 13-15 mpg. Last tank I had my fuel light on at 185 miles. Logn story short, dealer insists my pop charger is causing the car to run rich. I called JWT and they tell me there is no possible way that the pop charger would cause it to run lean. Does anyone know where I can get Data to prove this to the dealer? They want a few hundred dollars to clean my throttle body and adjust the ecu. I told them I am not paying it. They even tried to charge me 95 for looking at the air/fuel ration. If the car is running rich, shouldn't there be an error code? They said there was none and that it only throws a code "sometimes". That does not make any sense to me. Please help.

My fuel economy was around 18-19mpg stock.
With the Unlimited Tuning Carbon Fiber intake, I'm seeing 15-16mpg.

Even though the intake is supposed to make the car run leaner, I also
saw a drop in fuel economy. I can't explain why.

Before you bring your car back to the dealer and have them charge you
$$$ to do random ****, take your POPcharger off the car and return it to
stock. Reset the ECU, fill up a full tank of gas and see what your fuel
efficiency is like after going through a whole tank.

If the fuel economy goes up, well then you know the intake is causing
it. If the fuel economy stays around the same, something else is probably
wrong with your car, since 13mpg is pretty poor.

See this thread on Freshalloy.com. Apparently resetting the ECU had an effect on A/F ratio for one poster.

maybe try putting your factory intake back on. If you get better mileage then that would probably be it. It really isn't too much work. Especially if it saves you a few dollars and clears up a few questions you may be having. I also have the jwt intake but I still get 17-18 around town and 22 hwy.
