Im an 18 year old and my G still says Infniti. How does age fit into the spectrum at all? Do some reasearch, and a lot of the teenagers on here leave them infiniti. Its actually some of the older guys who grew up with the heritige of the R32 skyline and such who badge their cars this way. Of course its done for many reasons but age has nothing to do with it. Please don sterotype the youth of america.

If I badge it as such, I am not saying it's twin turbo'd. Not all Skylines are Twin Turbo'd. I would say it's almost stereotyping. There is such a thing as a Naturally Aspirated Skyline, and this car is it! It is a NISSAN SKYLINE 350GT, not Nissan Skyline GT-R!

I personally did it because I think it looks better, and to be different. That's what "modding" is all about, so don't knock people for individualizing THEIR car! We don't knock you for pretending you own a luxury car! oooooh

Come to think of it, what about the people in Japan with the Skyline 350GT are they not obligated to throw on some infiniti badging... Someone explain that....

Why do people care about what you do to your car? The driver paid 30k+ for the car, and they can do what ever they want.. Wether it be throwing a ford emblem or having daytons on it... The only reason a person can do that is because thats who they are, and thats what they want to have their car done as.

I know someone in Singapore that bought his wife the Toyota equivalent to the Lexus Rx300 that is sold here. The car's in Singapore are all right hand drives. He ask me to go to the Lexus deal and get him a complete set of Lexus badging and had me mail it to him so he can rebadge his Toyota. I really don't see anybody here in the states rebadging their Lexus's to Toyota's though.

Well nissan, the creator of the nissan skyline thought this car was worthy of the skyline name, so I'm pretty sure its deserving of the name.

someone once said that the skyline badge demands more 'respect' in the streets. that is one of the most stupid and immature things i've ever heard. what do the other drivers in the road do......get out of your way?

first, i know wat the hell a skyline is i know 2 guys wit real ones str8 from japan. i just wanted opinions on WHY people put it on their infiniti. cograts u know the whole history on the skyline, lets clap it up for him. 2nd, i just asked a question, i didnt know that it had been asked already cuz i'm not on here everyday. i would like to know if the guys who got all pissy about this have the nissan badge cuz that would explain the negative feedback. maybe u think putting the badge adds extra horsepower or sumtin or just makes u feel warm and toasty inside. yes nissan makes infiniti, but u bought ur car at infiniti, get it fixed at infiniti, and most people know that its a wat...o ya infiniti. sooo sorry i dont dig the whole name swap big guy, just wanted to see wat other people thought, but some had to be jerks about it.

i'm curious what kind of car you drive? edit: ah you posted a pic, nice nissan
do you post the question "why do you 350Z owners rebadge your cars to 'fairlady'?" in their forum as well?

basically, i think if you want an honest answer as to why, it is because it is a skyline, and we wish nissan had enough courage to market it as such in north america, instead of continuing to think north american's will not spend more than $30,000 on a 'nissan'. personally, i think all of the "luxury" brands of japanese manufacturers are an insult to our intelligence...lexus, infiniti, and acura. i wouldn't be surprised though if some people were dumb enough to think they were buying something other than a toyota, nissan, or honda...
