ok i know people like to put the skyline stuff on their G's to b different, but does anyone else find it kinda of dumb. Unless you got your G running like a real twin turbo skyline or something, which many dont cuz most of the G's that have the skyline badge are bone stock, then why put it. just wanted to see what people think.

 

i don't flame people about it, but i don't see the point. the car still says infiniti all over it. i took the "G35" off, but left everything else as is.

long story short the Infiniti G35 IS a SKYLINE 350GT in japan, NOT to be confused w/ the R series - R33/R34 RB26 engined twin turbo skylines. HOWEVER, the car in JAPAN is STILL sold as a skyline 350GT, NOT the same skyline your thinking about w/ available ATTESA AWD and twin turbo that you saw on 2 fast 2 furious. Skyline rebadging is NOT my style but it is for alot of members on this forum....again, please people let this guy dissappear with only his 3 posts, he wants attention so lets not give him any!!

Don't take it the wrong way.

 

IMHO, i think skyline badging is kind off 'silly'. i'am not an 18yr old kid, so its not like my freinds would know what a skyline is. people walk up to me and say 'thats a very hot car'. why? because they know it as an INFINITI G35.

be honest 'skyline converters', has anyone ever walked up to you and asked "nice car, what is it?' then you have to carry on for the next 5 minutes explaining what it is. be honest now.

 

I put the Skyline badge on my car because I felt the INFINITI looked a little cluttered.

I'm debating removing the Skyline and the 350GT badge and just leave the Mt. Fuji

 

Sometimes I think of badging my car back to infiniti just cause I get tired of the questions. Its more personal preference than anything, originally I did it just to be different. Most owners who have rebadged realize the G35 will never be truly be a "skyline"

Do your research though, the current skyline is not twin turbo'd.

the badging is stupid. i only think u should have one if u are running turbos. otherwise you dont deserve to have it on your car.
