basically, i think if you want an honest answer as to why, it is because it is a skyline, and we wish nissan had enough courage to market it as such in north america, instead of continuing to think north american's will not spend more than $30,000 on a 'nissan'. personally, i think all of the "luxury" brands of japanese manufacturers are an insult to our intelligence...lexus, infiniti, and acura. i wouldn't be surprised though if some people were dumb enough to think they were buying something other than a toyota, nissan, or honda...

no i didnt post that one about 350z. i saw pics though of the skyline their bringing over here and its gonna be under infiniti around 2007. its gonna cost a pretty penny but i'm sure people will pay

What's funny is that I was just in Japan and most of the g35's I saw were Skyline 300GT's. The only 350GT I saw was debadged and had Infiniti G35 badges.
