'Nother new guy

I've been hanging around for quite a while, but finally registered. Still waiting on my 05 6MT Diamond Graphite G to arrive. I ordered it in late December. The weather here has been too crappy to drive it any way, so I'm not that disappointed. It will be a weekend/nice day toy. Well, the dealer told me that it should be in this weekend, but I haven't heard anything since our last conversation. Enough bla, bla, bla from me.

2005 Diamond G Coupe 6MT/Stone (on order, due to arrive any day now)
Full aero body kit
No Nav, No sun roof, no other needless clutter that has nothing to do with performance driving.
Other rides: F-150 (daily driver)
Custom 1965 Chevelle
Yamaha R6 (sold!)

Welcome
Congrats.

Did you get the factory Aero package and the 3 piece kit or the 4 piece kit?

The R6 was nice, I put a lot of time into it, but someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Also, after moving to the east coast from Texas, It didn't get much use. Bikes are cheap, I can always pick something else up if it catches my eye. Not liking the current R6 styling too much.

As for the question about the aero kit, no, I didn't get the factory aero kit (should have), so I ended up with the 4 piece kit and already told the dealer that I want that third brake light removed before I pick it up. They are being very reluctant about that issue. I guess they don't want to do the extra work.

BLA gixxer crowd. Thats what all the squids ride b/c there boys tell them it the fastest in the magazines. Any CBR whoops *** fellas. However when i did trade my boy my 954 for his r6 i liked it. But then agian just being on two wheels is what its all about. Also bikes are cheap enough that you don't have to put too much thought baout walking out and buying one.

Maybe I'm biased because the gsx-r was the only one that I have liked? I like the cbrs too...just haven't done much research.

The performance between all makes of sport bikes is so similar, the main thing to really decide on is styling, reliability, and brand loyalty. I have always liked Yamahas since my first one at age 12, but I've also owned CBRs. I really love V-twin sport bikes like the Superhawk, RC51, Ducati(s), and Aprillias too. They sound awesome and have lots of useable torque. Enough about bikes,
