Anyone replaced clutch pedal assembly with '05?

I noticed that the clutch pedal assembly from the 05 is being sold now.

When I checked out the 05, the clutch pedal was definately much lighter than in the 04.

Anyone tried this or it thinking about trying this?

That's the first I have heard about the '05's clutch assembly being different. Pretty interesting.

Is the 'catch point' still the same? Is the only difference the amount of effort required to depress the clutch pedal? (that could just simply be an adjustment to the master/slave cylinder)

I never got to drive the 05, but, I sat in one inside the dealer and the first thing I noticed is that the effort to push on the clutch pedal was probably reduced by about half--even with the car totally cold.

They have this on performancenissanparts.com.

If nothing else it feels like it might pop out faster.

Hmmmmm.

the differance is night and day I have a 05 and my cousin has an 04, its honestly 60% lighter to depress, Its a big change, that 03-04 clutch is definitly a good leg workout tho. It feels more sportier with the 03-04 clutches but it is heavy, i perfer the 05 clutch personally for every day driving.

so will the 05 clutch work in the 03-04 and has anyone done this yet? would it require the pedal assy and the clutch components in the tranny, or one or the other?

I'll second this. I had a chance to drive an 04 and the pressure needed to engage the clutch is greatly reduced with the 05. I liked the sportier feel of the 04, but for everyday driving, the 05 clutch is much nicer.
