Birthday Present Advice

Hey guys, I never really post here because I have a Z and there's way too many Z forums for me to read. However, I come over and read up on the G35 every now and then. Anyway... my brother has a Diamond Graphite G35c. His birthday is coming up and I'm looking to spend no more than $150 bucks. His car is bone stock. Are there any suggestions on what to get him? The only accessories he has is the cargo net in his trunk. I thought about getting him a license plate frame, but have yet to stop by the Infiniti dealer.

Hmmm... some choices:

Rubber floor mats ($60-70)
Z-Tube ($60-70)
Grounding kit ($110-140)
License plate as you mentioned.

Since the car is bone stock, I assume he isn't interested in modding?

For $150, you could buy him a full detail of his car.....make it look brand new!

Oh, and get him a G35 die-cast model (in his color of course)

Aluminum gas/brake/clutch/footrest pedals ~$80.
Clear corners ~$25.

Z-tube ~$75 (or give him the stock intake tube off your Z ) the sound improvement on the G is NICE!

www.performancenissanparts.com
www.grubbsperformance.com

both good sites, but you probably already know that.

Thanks for the quick responses. Who makes the rubber floor mats? Any specific brand and would Autozone or Advanced Autoparts have 'em?

He wants to mod very badly but he's just recently married his wife (who he's supporting through college) and he just bought a house too. He doesn't have a lot of money to do anything at the moment. He really loves his car and takes care of it, so I thought getting something for his car would be nice.

Where would I get a die cast model of his car?

Oh, they are official floormats. Nice. I think this and a licenseplate frame would be nice together. He uses this license plate frame that came with the car from the dealer. Except he turned it backwards and it looks tacky.

As for the detailing kits, I think I run into the problem of which wax/polish would he prefer. I'm not really sure if he has a preference. I personally use Zaino on my car, but he may have another brand he likes. I think he uses Meguiar's NXT. So I don't want to give him something he wouldn't want to use.

I think he would like a lot of the things you guys recommended, like the grounding kit, the aluminum foot pedals, Z-tube, but he is really scared to do any DIY stuff. I don't even think he'd let me do it to his car. Maybe if I get him to build up some courage to actually do work on his car, he could start modding lightly. Thanks again guys.

If I had $150 to spend, this would be on the top of my list.

I could have sworn I saw those floormats on the website... i went there again to get you a link, but cant find it!!
Call up the dealer if you cant find it online, maybe they have it in stock (hopefully).

Also someone suggested the die cast model of the car, that will be nice as well.
