Changing the air filter, you gotta be kidding

I purchased a K&N air filter for my 05' G35 coupe. I could not believe how much trouble I had doing what you would expect to be a very simple job changing out the stock filter. Can anyone help me out here ? Do you have to pretty much disasemble the entire air intake to change the air filter ? There is nothing in the manual other than "see your dealer".

thanks,

try this:

https://g35driver.com/forums/faq-diy/17780-stock-engine-air-filter-replacement.html

it's in the FAQ/DIY forum. (try the search feature too)

It's very easy to do. The week I bought my G, I went to the dealer and asked how to change the air filter. The mechanic came out and showed me how to do it. Follow the instructions by Cato in the thread above. You should have no problems.
