Traded in 2005 coupe A/T for 2005 6mt

Went into dealer today and traded in my 2005 coupe automatic for the 6 speed. The extra power and the 6 speed transmission is awsome. Cant wait to put my rims and tires back on. Will post new picture soon.

the 5ATs are cheaper... either way trading in a car thats less than a year old is gonna hurt no matter how you do it... i guess you couldn't wait for the 6MT when you got the auto huh? hehe enjoy!

My auto only had 2500 miles on it so they gave me $33,900 for it. They sold me the new one for $33,000. My payment went up $20.00

only because they have to buy the sport package, us MT cars come with it standard, but in general, to make a Auto look like the Manual, it cost around 1500 more.

only $20 a month more is not bad at all; but then again you had an 05 with only 2.5k miles. Good move man, enjoy it!

Well, I live in LA and I figured the AT would be the better deal with our traffic conditions. I figured I've got the TIP so the car's not fully automatic. But after a while (I'd say 8-10 months) you get bored with the AT and the TIP feature. It's just not the same...

Oh well

Got the car in early Dec and I thought I woun't mind the car being an automatic. And the 6 speed was not avilible yet.

What am I missing? They gave you more for the AT than the cost of the MT and your payment went up, not down? And why did they give you so much for the AT, comparatively speaking? I've not price the coupe, so I'm not familiar with the prices. Thanks,
Andy

Generally, this is very true. That is one of the reasons people generally can not do this sort of trade.
