Rear Seat - how the hell do you get it out ?
OK, I am a bozo....
But for the love of God I can't figure it out.
The manual says reach under and release the wire loop(s) in the plastic hook... but I am clueless in finding anything.

Do you really want to pull out the rear seat or fold it? If you want to take it out, do you mean the top part or the bottom part?
For the bottom part (the actual seat), only two clips (very strong clips) hold it on. Located about 16" from either end in the front. Just pull up real hard - I hit my back on the roof when it finally releases - that's how hard it is.
The rear fold-down (the seat back) can be removed by unscrewing two nuts on thick bolts - you'll see it after you fold it down and remove the velcro in the back. You also have to disconnect the remote trunk latch cable - once you see the mechanism it is pretty simple.
If all you want to do is fold down the rear seats, there is a red cloth release latch just behind the crack of the rear center console (under the rear seat back). Just do a blind finger sweep - you should be able to get it. If you really can't find it, then you could always go from the trunk and release it from there (there is another latch there, I think).
