So when I got my lowering springs on the guy who did the install told me my right outer tie rod was worn out. I called infiniti and told them and they made an appt for it. He said that would be under the warranty. I was thinking they are going to blame it on the springs, but suprisingly that never came up. They had the car for 2 days becuase they needed to order a part. They called and told me it was all set and I even got a alignment out of the deal, not costing me a dime. What I should of done was check the car right their but of course I didnt. I got home to inspect the car and on my front pass fender right below the headlight I see 5 scratches semi-deep. I know they wernt their a few days ago and did not come from the guys that did my springs becuase I put my eyelids on after that. So now Im considering calling infiniti up, but I think its going to be a lost cause. I really dont see them saying "o yea that scatch, yea we did that." Should I do anything or just live with it? Ill take pics tomorrow, right now I dont really feel like it. Sry for the rant, but when something always goes so well, something always ruins it

 

Can't hurt, call them aslk for service manager.
Thank him for taking care of the warranty work, and calmly explain
the BUT it cam e back with scratches it didn't have, can you please
arrange to have this fixed.

Many things fall to the service managers descretion, if you are nice, you will likely
get a lot farther.

 

always... ALWAYS do a before and after walkaround. its worth your time. You can do it and not be an a$$. I mean, my dealer makes me do the same for their loaner! so, its really fair we do the same for my car. Plus is sends a message. Front lip, rear exhaust, around door handles, show the panels are ding-free, there's no paint missing around the lugs and the wheels are free of curbing. Open the driver door and make note of the leather, door panel and console. Takes 2 mins TOPS. I know this doesnt help now, but it REALLY helps to do a walk around.
