I had my headlights done at Tint Zone great job, but your looks like the 6/10 tint. i ordered bats 3/10 tint and its no way as dark as yours was. and the one piece looks really great without a line down the middle. try emailing bat hopefully he can help you out some how.here mine below. 3/10 tint.

Felt so bad for what I did to my car, I had to wash it after I got those hideous alien/bug eyes on the car. And you thought "The War of the Worlds" movie was coming out in May...shiz...it was already out...all over my car. >P
:sigh: too bad I wasted time and money today
Thanks for all the replies!

It's all about the GTR's bro, sorry you went through that, what a pain in the a$$!

Sure was . I'll ship a set of 3/10's to you. If you want the 1 piece, just let me know. Please remember next time to specify with your order 6/10 or 3/10 tint. Otherwise you will mostr likely get the standard 6/10 tint. As far as emails go, sorry guys for responding not as fast as I used to. I average about 100 emails a day! Between answering them and doing everything else can get overwhelming at times.

Email me .

BTW, I'm surprise how dark they look on your headlights. Here's 6/10 on the Z.

maybe it has to do with the fact that the Z headlights are silver vs the black chrome on the G?

yeah I was surprised too! Did you choose the wrong tint shade? Even David at Tintzone who's installed so many of your overlays has never seen it so dark. I think he felt bad for me to pay to put them on, which is why he didn't charge anything to help me take them off. Man it was insane dark...at first I thought it was just cause the car was inside in his shop, but even when I went outside, it was insanely dark. =C

Anyone have a close up picture of the 2 piece headlight overlays? I ordered those thinking I was going to install them myself but have now decided to get them profesionally installed. Is there that big of a difference?

A couple of things:

After seeing roadracer516's IP coupe with the 6/10s in GT-R cut, I'm happy that I got my GT-Rs in the 6/10. Haven't taken delivery of car yet, just overlays.

And, Peter C's question as to why the Z's headlights are lighter than the G's with the 6/10 full overlay... ..."because the G's housing is black chromed?"... ...is that right? Did I miss a change to the headlight housing on the '05 models? Is that silver inlay under the glass (that people baked the headlight open to get to and paint black) now black or is it still silver?
