Got a set of 4 (OEM sizes) BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2, mounted balanced and front aligned for a tad over $1K. That was at a local Goodyear store, although it is a national chain, so the prices should be close all over. Here's a pic:

20K miles. The rears were completely worn. Smooth as slicks (luckily it wasn't rainy season here in FL). Fronts still had tread left, but the inside edges were worn bad enough to need replacement soon after, so I just went ahead anyway, to match the tires. These new tires are supposed to have exceptional tread life too, so I'm looking forward to that.

I hear ya Civic!! Those 19's won't be cheap!!

Inside-out like putting on a shirt inside out?? You can't do that because the valve stems would be inside the tire, where the air pressure is.

hehehe, sorry but I had to. The way you worded that just sounded funny.

I know what you meant tho. I wanted to make sure all 4 tires had matching treads too.

Amazing that insurance companies allow a redesign of suspension parameters by owners changing tire models, brands, sizes and tread patterns.

Actually they don't. Most policies have an aftermarket clause.......which in a strict legal sense prohibits it.......never enforced unless you hurt somebody.

Tell me about it. I priced them out before I purchased the car and it looked like it would run in the $1300-1500 range.

At least we'll have decent tires at that point. Bridgestone's are crap. Car really should have some with PS or PS2's.

I got the Yokohama AVS ES 100's.

225/45 on front, and 245/45 on back...I used to have the Michellen Sports but those are just too expensive. These tires are great, and it only cost $800 with install.

i got the Bridgestone Potenza RE750s

front 235/40/18 and rear 245/40/18
price matched w/ tirerack at a near by tire shop $165 for each tires... everything came out to be $890. got them because, they were the best tires i could get around that price. and will last alot longer then our stock tires.

i was trying to get Kumho escta MXs, some of the M3 guys and Supra (500+ hp and still grips thro corners and launches) guys used it and said they were the best for the money ($140 and perf like S03s). BUT they are hard to find... lot of the shops dont carry them.
