Gawking

Our G's get a lot of looks, but have you ever been driving and caught someone GAWKING like it was a Ferrari F350 or something? Some guy in a prelude was driving the opposite way and almost got into an accident because he turned his head around to look at my G go by...(and his grilfriend was propped up in the seat to see the car too)

I love my G and its nice to look at but I never thought it was THAT much of a headturner..

My GF busted two guys pretty badly.

I parked my car in the lot and went into the supermarket, while my GF went into the pharmacy (next door). I came out first, so I went to get the car so I could pick her up as she came out.
Well, she came out a little too quickly so I had to kinda drive after her, since she didnt know I wasnt parked anymore (had to circle around).

As she walked towards where I had parked, she overheard two guys say "Look! Dude, there's a G35....that car is sick"

She turned, saw me pull up to her, and said to them "Yeah, it is"
Then I stopped right in front of them, opened the door, she got int, and we drove off

She told me later what they said...lol, too funny...

I get it ALL D TIME!

You have to understand that I live in Indiana. Indiana is a land filled with corn fields and V8's.

Having a CB blue colored car alone would get you noticed in this state. Having a CB G35 Coupe...well, talk about a neck twisting, gawking, drooling, staring, girls yelling/waving, little kids pointing, and boyfriends angry at their girlfriends for looking car!

In the parking lots I always have people looking at my G. Since I debadged it (only the front and rear Infiniti emblems are on) it REALLY confuses people. Mt. Fuji isn't well known around here.

Hmmmm....maybe being here isn't too bad. G35's are rare here. I like it like that.

Had a guy with a brand new Porsche Boxster (Still had temp plates) gawking over my ride at a stoplight last night. I thought that was pretty funny.

yep down here in Georgia I get head turns at every light. It truly is a beautiful thing to look at while parked far away from everyone else and looks even better when the wheels are turning. Its a gorgeous car no doubt, it has class and sport all together without that "hey look at me Im a Mercedes" which costs 20 G's more. What a waste. We are lucky people to be driving this type of car for the money we paid, for sure. Holla back

Even though here in SoCal where there are TONS of G's all over the place, I still happen to catch a longing glance every now and then - rarely but it still happens enough times for me to feel like my car is still pretty nice.

Your car has to be pretty special to get the types of responses indicated by some of the posters above. For example, I just saw a Mercedes SLR drive past me this afternoon and I gave the guy the "nice car" head nod just to let him know I recognized he wasn't driving your average, everyday Mercedes.

Not many that's for sure. I have to agree that the car doesn't look all that great but you have to appreciate the engine in that thing.

Parking Lot Pimping...

Since I have had my car, not a single day has gone by that someone has not complimented the car....stop lights, parking lots, gas stations, malls etc...the car demands attention, and deserves it...

The best part is busting someone gawking and giving them the "Thanks" smile and head nod
