I am planning to buy some OEM 18's from a local seller but the wheels do not come with the tire pressure sensors...will the tire pressure sensors from my OEM 17's work? I do not know where the sensor is located or even what it looks like...im clueless about this...in case the TP sensors from my 17's wont work can i drive without the sensors and will the TP sensor light come on if i didnt have the sensors?

Yes, the TPS from the 17's should work just fine. The TPS's are located on the outside of the rim there and they just need to be taken off and put on the 18. The local shop you are changing them at will know.

If you DON'T transfer the tire pressure sensors you will just have that annoying light on your dash that will occasionally go off regarding your tire pressure.

 

I HATE THAT LIGHT!!! IT WONT GO AWAY!! i had the dealer reset it, and it still comes back up!!! ROAR! that is the most worthless accessory EVER

 

when I put my 17 winters with no sensor on my 04 coupe, the TPS light did not com on the entire time I had the 17's on
{around 2 months} ....???
