Had it done today at Douglas Infiniti in Summit, NJ. Dropped it off at 10:30 got a I35 loaner. Picked it back up at 1pm. The fix works, no more streaks. I put the window up and dpown like 50 times and no streak to be found. Before it was pretty prominent. Had the oil changed too. Great experience at that dealership.

 

About time they had a TSB on it. Thanks for the headsup.
Now I wonder if there's one up here in Canada yet? Hmmmm

They prolly fixed all the newer ones bro. Streaks are about 1/2 inch wide and about a foot from the front of the door. No biggie, just a little annoying.

I have the streak too, going to get it replaced soon. WTF up to now, I've had squeaky brakes, streaks on window, passenger window motor defective..

I AM PRETTY PISSED, even though everything is being taken care of by the dealer. Is it possible to switch the car over for a new one, I RECEIVED A DEFECTIVE ONE.

The stoppers to fix my windows are arriving later this week.

Incidentally, I don't think this is specifically an Infiniti problem. I've seen the exact same streaks on a Porsche and a Lincoln lately. My guess is that these parts are all made by one source company, because I just don't see how 3 cars from 3 nations and 3 completely separate ownership families can have grease streaks that look exactly the same.
