new 04 price

Ok, I wanted an M45 but local msrp is 69k, not gonna happen. An 05 sedan runs 52k here loaded and an 05 coupe (loaded) about $54,950. All these prices are in US $ and are sticker. I separated a new 04 TB/G 6mt coupe (11mi on the odo) at a "special" price, $44,950 (9k under sticker). It might also be important to note, there is only one infiniti dealership here, and no 6mt sedans on the lot. I'm supposed to be polishing up this deal tomorrow morning and wanted to know everyones take. I posted prices of the 05 sedan and 6mt coupe so you know what 05 sticker looks like down here. To G or not to G?

I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about, but it sounds kinda high. I bought an 04 coupe premium w/gps, brand new for 34,500. Try kbb.com to book a used car.

I'm sorry guys. This is in Puerto Rico, prices are in US. Taxes are the culprit. Its not only infiniti cars that get taxed, they all do. Cars over 40 grand on the US sticker get raped. The M45 pays about 20k in taxes, a CTS-V is 75k on the sticker (just another example). I guess what im really asking is.. would you get the 05 for 54,000 or an 04 for 44,900. One or the other.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy one in the US and then just ship it over?

Between those two, I'd take the 04 for $45k

If the '04 is new and has the options you want, it sounds like the better deal. But only you can decide what's best for you and your money. Good luck. You will love either car.

Shipping it over doesn't mean you could skip out on the tax.

what kind of tax is it....sales, luxury, import, all of the above? that just seems rediculous....if it's not some sort of import tax, check into buying in the states and shipping in like suggested above... good luck...
