"CLICKING" in a 04 G35C AT
"CLICKING" in a 04 G35C AT
While driving in lower gears, approx. 1st or 2nd gear, there is a click when the gas is being applied. It comes from the rear right tire and it does so very often, especially when the car is cold. Anyone know what is going on?
the rear axle needs to be either replaced or it needs to be retorqued and relubed. i had this happen on my sedan and i figured out was wrong by searching the forums and they had this problem on the coupes. my car now needs the other side done. kinda when you give it the gas then let off and give it the gas again it will click a coupe times. there is a tsb on this and its done under warrernty. hope this helps.

yepp, g35sedamn is right. There is a TSB on this. The rear axle nut is just a little loose. The TSB calls for replacing the whole bearing, but I just retorqued mine... Even if you replace it, it will come back with a little hard driving.
