Im from New Orleans right here!! I see alot on the roads but never on the boards. Anyone else from New Orleans in here?

I lived in the New Orleans area all my life until about 4 months ago I relocated to Alabama for a job.

I will be coming back to visit family this weekend, man I sure do miss the "real" seafood

 

i live in tupelo, ms and there are only a few g's here, but no one on the boards

 

For those with CAI and the crazy rains in New Orleans, is it ever a problem with hydrolocking the engine. I lived in Metairarie for about 4 years, I'm now back and happy in California- too nice to ever want to live anywhere else.

 

I had a CAI on my accord and ran through rain with no problems. I did have a AEM bypass valve in the midsection of the intake piping to prevent that problem though, but dunno if it really did anything. I guess it was for peace of mind really. Alot of people say the whole intake needs to be completely under water for any real damage to occur.
