Today I depressed rocker arm switch to heat seat and it went "crack" and now tne switch is sunken in. The dealer is far away and I do not want to make special trip so he can determine what part to order. Any help out there???

 

Sorry man sure don't know. Haven't touched my heated seat switch the day I got it. Now I won't touch it again. (thanks for the info on the sensativity of the switch)

 

I'd call the dealer and explain what you did. He'll have a P/N for the broken switch. That should save you a trip.
I've looked on my ESM and find no P/N for that switch.

I called parts guy and he looked it up on his screen and he said he did not know what had broken---the recepticle (new console) or the switch itself. (switch assembly). One is a "fix-it-while you wait" and the other is an "all day" and loaner car visit.

 

Ack did you tell him you broke it? Is it still under warranty if you busted it? I would of told him it was flimsy the day I got my G just to save me from hassling with the guy's at the dealer when they say, "You break, you pay"...
