Surf's Up?
Surf's Up?
Anybody use a "soft" surf rack for the G35 coupe? I just want to know if the rack was relative sturdy and didn't chew up the weatherstripping and/or paint too much...
I may just have to nix the idea and just use my wife's RX330.... I'm just still uncomfortable with her driving my brand new 2005 Black 6MT...

Step 2: Snake the board into the G with the wax side down (use a board sock or a travel bag) and place the nose toward the rear window (fins should be up and under the glove box).
Step 3: Try to lift the seat up a bit so that the nose of the board is near the roof then put the seat belt over the board and snug it up so that it cannot fly around incase of an accident.
Step 4: Drive to the beach but DO NOT park on the sand! Park in a paved parking lot or walk. Your G deserves at least that much respect.
Step 5: Wash the heck out of the G as soon as you get home. Spray the bottom of the G very well with the car running and make sure that all salt and sand is completely removed from the underbody!!!
You now have permission to take your G surfin'... Life's Good!
"Get amped, go off!"BTW, soft racks are a no-no.
