Has anyone shipped a Nismo exhaust system?

Has anyone packed up and shipped an exhaust? I'm getting ready to post and sell a new Nismo (Weldina) for a friend who is internet-challenged, but I don't know what it will take to send. Would you have to use a freight company for something that big or can you drop it off at a UPS store? The box is 63"x16"x28" and I have no idea what it weighs.

I think I paid around $140 when I got my Stillen exhaust and flywheel, etc.? Thanks in advance guys.

Take it to the nearest MBE branch. They'll pack and ship it for you.

I think you should be able to ups it, but its going to be "oversized" and they will charge extra... just go to ups.com and enter in the dimensions the web site will give you all the info you need. Then just drop it at an ups store... Its a big hassle to ship it freight unless you know someone that already has a freight account that you can reimburse; so you will want to avoid that. You can also save some cash if you know someone who has a ups account and they will let you ship it through them...

From: Trolling a forum near u.... (T.O.)
we use ups at work. i believe the max length u can use is 10 feet. not sure on weight or other numbers (but i know we have special oversize labels for items over 50 pounds). as mentioned before, u should just call up ups and ask them. mbe has been taken over by the ups store for a couple of years now. don't have the ups store package the goods for u. i shipped a 23" tv from south carolina to toronto last year and they packaged the damn thing in a single walled box. needless to say by the time i got it the box was mangled and the tv had a crack down the plastic surroundings. huge hassle to get my money back for the tv afterwards. package it yourself... otherwise tell the customer to get some good insurance... or u might regret it later.

I once shipped seats in one large heavy duty box. If I remember correctly the box was a little bigger than yours and was about 70lbs. NJ to CA was about $110 through UPS. UPS should definatly take that and its probably the cheapest
