Has anyone found a good place to get a set of JDM tail lights? I made a post about this last year but no one knew of any good places. Maybe they are available now....??

 

What's the difference between the JDM and USDM ?

Not sure about the diff....

...my guess would be a slight difference in color??? All Red maybe?

 

US spec taillights are all red (well, minus the reverse)

Japanese market tails have orange blinkers (rest is the same).

 

I wonder if Grubbs can get them? The seem to be able to get a lot of other JDM parts.

Ahh... i knew it was some lil color difference...orange this, red that...

My question, WHY? I guess its just one more thing on your list of JDM heaven...

Okay.... time to give Blue Batmobile a call and ask him to make a couple pieces of orange vinyls for the JDM crowd.

 

yeah... I don't know what it is about my jdm obsession but.. I hate "aftermarket" exterior parts but I still want my car to be different. I have a full set of skyline badges but I don't feel right about putting them on. Not without a few other things.

Oh yeah, flame me if you want but remember I'm one of the only ones on this forum that has ever imported a JDM car.

 

In my case: because someone drives the car in Europe and red blinker are illegal here?

I would be very interested in getting them also. I-T let me know if you find out sth. I'va also asked on 6mt beginning of this year and no one could answer.

 

Kind of crazy, we do all we can to get rid of the orange on our lights now. But hey I do some crazy chit too!
