I have 8k on my 6sp coupe and they are bold. If you drive hard, back tires do not last beyond 10k. I had a supra tt with 550 whp and the tires lasted 6k...

I've got about 33k miles on my pilots but my rears are bald (front is fine). I probably should have replaced them around the 25k mark.

It was poor planning on my part. I wanted to use up the 18" wheels before ordering new 20" wheels/tires. Well the new tires have been sitting in my garage for almost 3 months now as I wait on my wheel delivery. Wouldn't be a problem except for the fact that I drive ~3k miles a month. I should have placed my wheel order at around 16k miles...

I've got 23K miles and still a few thousand miles left on the tread; but the noise is getting unbearable. It sounds like a drum roll between 20-40mph. The noise started at about 12K miles and keeps getting worse. But I have been pleased that the tirest lasted so long, I was expecting only 12K-15K miles.

311xx Fronts were completely bald, rears still had about another 2k at most... Just got some yokohamas put on, performance sucks I slide all over the place..... and I baby it too.... at least it was like 75 bucks cheaper per tire ....crappy trade off....

So far I have almost 20K on my pilot sports. I change them out in the winter, so they get a break for about 4 months. they seem to be holding up pretty well. I didn't expect to get this much out of them.

I do drive pretty conservative, and most of the miles are highway.

heres a shot of the rear tire before I re-installed them in March.

Am looking hard at replacing them with one of these with same size for now:

or
http://www.yokohamatire.com/TireIntro.asp?TireID=9

I've always run Nitto or Yokohama and love them both, the Yoko's last longer, the Nitto's grip like no other, but wear like these Michelin's did. I have the BFGoodrich GForce TA tires on my Stratus and they are sweet so I am considering them for the G also.

Has anyone used these tires that htownboy posted. I would like to here how these BFgoodrich's are.

The G-Force KDW NT's are one of the tires I'm thinking about getting. You won't get the same mileage out of the G-Force that you would get with the Pilot Sports. The Pilot Sports are a 400 rated tire and the G-Force are 300 rated. The best price I've found for the Pilot Sports is $945+install and tax. The best price I've found for the G-Force is $657+install and tax. So it depends on how much you want to spend.

According to their UTQGS treadwear rating the Pilot Sports "should" last longer. Pilot Sports have a 400 rating, G-Force have a 300 rating. If each wear under the same condition and you get 25K miles on the Pilot sports you "should" be able to get 18750 from the G-Force.

I just replaced the rears at 30K. Probably should have done them a couple K ago.

I replaced the fronts for the 2nd time (1st time was the previous owner). This is due to a camber problem that is getting fixed tomorrow:

The OEM Pilots lasted me 18k
The fronts were pretty ok at 18k couldve gone about 5k-7k more. The rears were pretty much hashed out, the inner treads were getting worn to the wire.
I'm a pretty aggressive driver, I've done a good amount of Track Days and Drift Sessions.

Nice thing, the Brembo pads were due too, so tires and brakes were done all at once.
