I bought a set of lowenhart ldrs on ebay. The auction said that the wheels were perfect and new. The wheels arrived they looked new except in the back of one wheel there was welding. The tires are not holding air. I called the company that sold them on ebay and they are being jerks. I tried to get a refund but they are trying to charge me a 35 percent restocking fee. I am about to get legal help on this issue because they said it in writing that the wheels were new and they wernt. Anybody ever had a rim that had to be welded and was losing air. What did u do. The company that sold me the rims was WWW.RIMSTOP.COM stay away.

 

go thru Ebay...see what they can do for you....they have auction insurance....you need to argue the point "item not received as described"....good luck...that sucks

 

If you went with a CC, then dispute the charges immediately. Call the company tell them send UPS/FedEx and pick their ***** up.

 

If you paid via paypal and you had an unconfirmed address and they still shipped it to you, put in a disput with paypal and you will get your money back promptly.

If you had a Confirmed address however, you can put in a dispute saying like the above that it was not in the condition described, however, chances are, 99% you are not getting your money back.

If you paid via money order, check, etc., you're 100% not getting your money back.

Sucks. Good luck with it.

 

Maybe one of the members on the board who live in Houston will know Sonny or Hope Jimenez? You might try posting their info in the regional section too...

Without a doubt this company is TRASH. My cousin had mad problems with them. He got his credit card company to get his money back...and then the crooks charged his card again a month later!!! That money was refunded also, but the moron tried to use the following rule as reason to charge the credit card # he kept on file without permission.

And for God sakes people....check bbb.org before you buy. 68 complaints on these SOB's.

dude any rim shop that has spinners for decoration on the site is a hint and a half to stay from. LOL im sorry for the grief and hope that you get some kind of resolution from it.
