Aerodynamics Package

I'm looking for specific pictures of a coupe with the Aerodynamics Package installed. I'm not just talking about the rear wing. I'm talking about the front spoiler, side sills, and rear-underbody spoiler. I haven't been able to find any pictures with this option and there are quite a few rides to browse through. I hadn't thought that there was a factory body kit, but the options list that my dealer gave me specifically listed it. It was like $2,900 (w/ rear wing).

Re: Aerodynamics Package

Hey man.

There is no aero kit like a bolt on glue up type kit you may be used to.

The aero kit is the wing in the back and some underbody panelling on the car with air diffusing portions to route the air creating the lowered coefficient of drag.

no side skirts ... no front air dam...etc

there are aftermarket kits ..but not stock .. . you gotta jack the car to generally see the body panels under it .

later man

Re: Aerodynamics Package

Ok, i found the sheet. This is straight from an official Infiniti book for options on their cars. The book includes options for all of Infiniti's cars, this excerpt is obviously for the G35c.

Aero Package:
Includes rear spoilerand rear body undertrays.

(This is the package you are refering to that everyone is familiar with.)

Aerodynamic Body Kit (with or w/o rear spoiler):
Includes Aerodynamic Body Kit without Rear Spoiler, and body-color deck lid rear spoiler (4-piece kit).

The kit has a list of $2910 and the Aero Package a list of $550.

Now I'm not saying your wrong. This is why I'm posting the question. I'm just trying to found out what this means, because i hadn't heard of it before. What I'm thinking may be the case now, Infiniti may have just made a rather large typo. Because, i know the Sedan does have a factory body kit. So maybe they had planned to do a kit for the coupe or maybe whoever edited this book was an idiot. Or maybe there is a kit. I just want to make sure.

Re: Aerodynamics Package

can someone post pics of the rear underbody aero package?

I know how the rear spoiler looks like but I never seen the other part of the aero package.

Re: Aerodynamics Package

I saw pictures of the $2900.00 kit when I was at the Mission Viejo, CA dealership the other day. The salesman, Jimmy, said Infiniti had no pictures of it at all. They finally got one coupe in that had it, so they took pictures themselves. They aren't very good pics - kinda dark - but basically the aero kit gives the car a more aggressive look. It doesn't do anything for lift or drag or performance. Anyway, he might be willing to send someone copies to post here, if anyone's interested.

Re: Aerodynamics Package

You can order the splash guards online for under $200, a rear spoiler online for $220 ON EBAY which includes shipping, and a stillen front lip spoiler for about $320 including shipping. Painting of front lip spoiler is about $160 with installation. So you can get a great package with installation for under $1000 or order the dealer package for $2900. I would suggest ordering the navigation system with the extra $2000 saved!
