Are you an Infiniti spy sent to get a list of names so that you can void our warranties?

do all 6mt's have rev limiters? I would have though I would have hit mine but I never have, been up around 7K RPM's where is it set? I have been worried a little lately about a few high revs when it got loose starting from first and making turns sideways. So do I have nothing to worry about since I have a rev limiter or does it have to be set?

if they wanted to know how aggressively we drive our ars, all they need to do is read the ECU when we come in for service...by the way, saying it here can't be used to void our warranty as it's HEAR SAY. =)

Right now it is hearsay. Odds are that it'll be more an more accepted as "evidence" in due time. More case law is needed to dictate that internet forums can be admissable. You'd have to prove the IP adress, Mac adress, and the person sitting infront of the computer. Tough burden, but I think we'll be there in a couple years.

The ECU can only be read back to a limited time.......i can't remember off hand but it is something like the last 10 miles or so.

Put your G in MM mode and smash your gas and keep it there...you'll learn was your rev limiter is REAL quick. Basically, the car has a limit as to how far you can go pass red line so you won't hurt your engine...

RROOOOOMMM RRROOOOMMMM DEN DEN DEN DEN DEN DEN DEN

DEN = rev limiter sound...

At least once a week. I notice it goes off a little bit earlier than where I set it at. I guess that is a good thing since it will prevent me from going over.
