ive hit it once, but since the car is faster when you shift early you shouldn't be
hitting it that often.

I used to hit it a lot until I had the ECU modded by TechnoSquare. Since then, I've not hit it once. A worthwhile mod if used in conjunction with other mods.

I've hit the limiter a few times over the last 2 yrs., but it's no biggie as long as you don't make a habit of it.

who cares? Hitting the rev limiter will do absolutely nothing, if it wasn't there then you would rev too high and then you would have problems.

yea hit it twice in 2 years lol man,1st gear ends so quickly. What is an ideal shift point for 1-2 shift during a drag race

I've beaten mine into submission.....my limiter is now at 6900 rpms....hit that atleast 3 times per week...(usually not paying attention....too busy looking at the other car racing me) always 1-2 shift.

ive done it once or twice. but the one time i remember, it was horrible. i meant to downshift from 5th to 3rd and punch it, but it went into 2nd. the needle went past 8000 rpms. i thought i had killed my car. i have never been so scared in my life.
