Yep, I set mine the same way at lunch. It works as advertised. They had the actual point set at 8000rpm, where I never saw it, so I misunderstood about the little text that said "REV" all the time.

Is there anyway to make the "REV" go off? I find it highly annoying, and it detreacts from an otherwise great instrument display.

Are you serious? It's that distracting?

youll get used to it, trust me... you wont even know its there after 2 or 3 months...

if you REALLY want to, you can open up the instrument panel and remove the LED's... but i dont think its that distracting..........

Now that I know that it's just a label, it doesn't bother me at all.

It's the only warning light on the dash of any of my 3 vehicles that needs to be lit even when it is not in use or does not apply. It's pretty stupid.

Actually, it's no more annoying than the "VDC Off" square that comes up when you turn off the VDC every time you drive. You get used to the 2 extra sources of light after 1 or 2 days.

BTW, it's here and I can't wait to get through the break-in period.
