g coupe convertible....

Maybe this has already been asked, but why isn't there a convertible coupe? I think it would be the only thing that would make the g even hotter....

You have to reinforce the sides to make it withstand crashes, which adds weight, and also whatever mechanism lets the top go down adds weight too.

There is a G convertible. It's marketed as a 350Z.

Then why bother marketing the G coupe at all when THAT is market as a 350z?

I dont think the statement is too accurate. Just my 2 cents. Not like it means much though

Do a search, this topic has been discussed many times. There's a picture circulating the net that some sites claim is the future "G35 Convertible" but thats just a load of bull****, its just someone's photoshop job. I hate to resurect this because it needs to remain dead, but here goes.

Yea but rest assured that won't be happening to the G, probably won't see anything like that in the Nissan line 2007 when the GT-R is supposed to released.
