His and Hers G35s
#17
My family has two sets of the same car. My sister and I both have G35's (hers is an '04 Diamond Graphite Coupe and mine is an '05 Lakeshore Slate Coupe) and my parents both have Mercedes SL's. Both of their cars are even the same color (black). I just bought my G35 Coupe a week ago after my dad bought his car, so this is something that has happened in jsut the past few weeks. I didn't really think it was that weird for my sister and I to have the same car since I live in Austin and she lives in Oklahoma, but my parents have two cars that are the same kind of car that are the same color parked right next to each other in the garage. It's kinda weird, but I have to admit it looks nice. Here's a pic of them...

His car is on the left and her's in on the right. THe one on the left is an '05 SL65 AMG, and on the right it's an '03 RENNTech SL500. THe SL500 is s/ced and it pulling about 480ish hp at teh crank (haven't put it on the dyno yet so we really have no clue what it's actually making at the wheels). If you want to find out more, go check out the forums at www.caranddriver.com to see my other posts about it. My username there is mdernick. Here is a link to the SL65, but if you want there are other threadso n there when the RENNTech installation was going on...

My dad runs an oil/natural gas exploration company and my mom is a high school English teacher. When I used to live at home, nothing like this would have ever happened. As soon as I went off to college though, all hell broke loose.
