yes, inital D is real in jdm land. its called the Togue circuit or battle or somthing. if have the tsukba battle video of the 350z from best motoring (vs s2000,M3 etc etc) , it has a bonus feature of real inital D of a AE86 corolla vs a GTR Vspec II. the vspec lost the inital D race...
