Mirror garage/gate opener button

In the manual it says to press the two outer buttons to clear the memory. I wana set one button for my garage at my house and the other for the garage at my apartment. My question is if i press the two outer buttons to clear the memory will it erase my previous memory for button 1? Thanks in advance as some people will say

I'm not sure of the answer but believe that that will erase the memory of all 3 stored buttons. I think there is a number for Homelink in the manual where they will guide you through the process and probably be able to answer your question.

Good luck.

when you program the buttons, you don't have to clear everything. i can't remember specifically, but hold the buttons down it tells you to until it starts flashing, then you press the button you want programmed along with your garage door opener. that way it only programs that one button.

if u already have one programmed then just go ahead... pick another button and do it again. no need to flash the memory again (aka hold 2 outer buttons again).
