Okay here is what i think. I too am in the situation of buying the 2005 G35, I know 2006 will come out but what is the point. Because 2007 model will follow and if it is true that is when GTR will come out. Seeing how this is North AMerica I will presume GTR will be out early 2008, by that time I will have driven my car for 3 year and trade it in for the GTR model.

If u go to buy a g35 in mid summer, like june or july. You think you can get a sick deal off one, since the 06 is coming out later that year.

I have the same dilemma. I'm saving up for a G and unless I win the Lotto, I won't be purchasing till this fall. I do have concerns about a redesigned model coming out in 2007. But would you guys really buy a first year G after experiencing the '03? I'm undecided, but I think now is the right time to buy one. Its going on it's 4th year of generation and will be at it's most refinement.

 

my suggestion, buy an 05 now so you could enjoy it over the summer, don't wait. i was impatient in buying the 2005 model the last week of november, now i regret it bigtime because i didn't waita bit more so i could have the 6mt. I am assuming that the same deal would take place with the 06 model, first the automatic, then the 6mt. I wish i waited 3 more months to have bought the 6mt, but im still happy.

final note: buy the 05 so you could enjoy it over the summer, plus you could get a better deal on it
