Advice wanted - pulling the trigger tomorrow!

Can anyone give opinions on a 2003 G35 coupe, AT, black/black - 20k miles - absolute MINT condition?

It has brand new Michelin Pilot Sports on 18 inch chromed factory rims. Has every option except Nav or XM.

The interior is easily a 9.5 and the exterior is very close to a perfect 10! There are no dings on front or rear bumper. No door dings. The paint (Black) has a shine like a mirror. Not even any swirl marks. One or two very minor scratches and that's it.

Is being sold by private party in TX -

Now, is it worth $29,000?

Any comments would be appreciated.

PM or post.....

Here's a few pics..

You could get a brand new one for a little more. Talk him down, if he/she doesn't budge, search again.

To find a black car with paint that well taken care of that's two years old, it'd be hard ot find another one. On kbb.com, the value I got was a bit above $30K, so to me $29K doesn't seem that far out of the question. If the car is in 'basically new' condition, the price premium over others you'd find would be worth it to me. You get what you pay for.

Blue book value doesn't really say much though at all.

For a few more thousand you could have a brand new one... with newer paint, newer tires, less miles, etc.

I think he could definately go lower. Especially for an 03.

I think I'd wait until october...if you can..Then work the dealership on an 05 for $31-32K. Brand new and a steal of a deal.......with all the options except nav. That's what I did in 04. Hope it works out for you! Peace.

To get a car just like that new, it's cost you atleast $35K with a good deal(chrome 18's, premium package, aero package, etc.), so he'd save $6K at the very least by going for this car instead of a new one. That's over a 20% increase in price. And that's with a good deal too seeing as a new one with all these options will have an MSRP over $37K.

a little high, but not too bad. I paid 30K for an 04 with 3K miles, loaded nav and all. Plus nismo exhaust, plus a factory extended 100K zero dect warranty.

Offer him 28K

Yea thats definitely too high, he might have set it at though to just try and get that much, but he probably expects to be talked down to less. I have an offer from my dealership for a brand new left over 2004 with only 30 miles on it for $32,300 just to show you. Id agree with everyone and say try and get him down a few thou.

That is way too steep. For only about 2-3K more you could walk off with an 05 6MT with the premium package!!
