wait 11 days for oil change?

I know you have to make a appointment for warranty or more complicated service issues but waiting almost 2 weeks just for a oil change in my mind is crazy just wanted to know if you all make appointments just to get your oil changed. This is my first infiniti so I never had to deal with infiniti service deparments but I've only owned nissan's before and never had to make an appointment for a oil change. I was going to take it to Nissan to have it changed but I have free oil changes at infiniti.

Is the free oil change thing just at your dealership or for anyone who bought an Infiniti at an Infiniti dealership?

After 1+ year of ownership, I've found it's normal to schedule 1 week in advance for a minor service (one where I wait for the car) and 2 weeks if it's a major service or warranty work where I take a loaner car. This is at Jim Coleman in Bethesda, MD

It's not an Infiniti thing, it's your dealer. It sounds like you may not be the first person who is getting free oil changes if they are that busy.
I can always get in here within 2-3 days notice.

The local dealer here (cerritos Infiniti) has 1-2 week wait for appts. Probably best to find a backup for minor service.

Tell Jose that you want a cash refund for taking your car to Classic Nissan and having your oil changed there if they (OI) can't get you in and out in 1 hour... TODAY!

FGC members are feared at OI...

It seems that OI has been all kinds of busy for a while now. Just before I purchased my G35c I was going to have to wait something like 3 weeks for a simple service on my QX4 (w/o a loaner). While I was in the dealership purchasing my coupe some of the staff commented on the wait to get into the service dept. still. I guess that is still the case now (I've had my G for 6 weeks).

That sucks.

I just drive up to my dealer and they do an express oil change without appointment.
