that's sick. maybe they use it for high speed chases ....kind of like how a few italian (i believe) police use lamborghini's

Yep, Italy's state police has at least one Lambo Gallardo donated by Lamborghini. I dont think there will ever be a G as a police car here in the US.

i've actually seen it in papers but rumor is that at least police down here are going to start using dodge magnums and possibly even the new dodge charger's as new police cars

on an issue of motor trend it said the dodge and the police dept made a deal to make magnums into police cars, all v6 and some hemi's. suppose to be out in 06.

No i dont believe cops will be driving that in the US. US police departments only buy American made cars: Ford (crown vic), Chevy (Impala) and soon Dodge will be releasing a patrol car (most likely Magnum). That isn't to say that patrol cars will change, but they only buy cars made in the United States.

florida state troopers have camaro's and some have some sort of powerful mustang, the mustangs are used for undercover work i believe though.
