Disappointing news ...
well..i have a RWD sedan, but winter tires look good to me =) i had alot of fun with the slippage...but with the VDC and snow tires and skill..and caution...and whatever....lol..G35 should be a good car to drvie in snow...at least better than alot of FWD cars which should perform better in snow because they are FWD!

BTW, an education is what YOU MAKE OF IT, not what a teacher makes of it for you.If you study hard you'll do just as well in FL as you would have done in VA, plus the summertime here at the beaches... the girls... the bikinis... the G........ good choice.
Some people posted they had no trouble in the snow with the stock Michelin Pilots. I live in N.J., and I found it dangerous to attempt moving the car with 1" of snow.
I purchased 4 snows and 17" rims. It made driving the car in snow 100 times better. Starting off was a little tricky, but the car pulled and never lost traction even on deep unplowed snow covered streets. I think it was the best investment I made for the winter months.....

The snow is not an issue for me anymore...back in 2002 i bought a F-350 crew cab diesel truck (4x4)
. I was tired of always relying on friends to pick me up etc because my previous car was waaaaay to low to drive on snow...even with snow tires, i would still be plowing.

So I drove my coupe with the pilot sports on it all winter here in Ohio and had not a problem.
Maybe it is the additional 18 years of driving experience on my end that contributed to my winter driving abilities. Lying about the way my car handled last winter would be pretty lame.

Anyway, I think driving with summer tires on snow is careless. Wait until you start sliding away... summer tires don't have any stopping power in snow.
