LOL. Sweet ride.

I'd tear down the crime scene tape and take it with me where ever I went so I wouldn't have to worry about door dings..

Black cars are a mother to keep clean but they look very nice when they are!

Enjoy!

nice ride, i remember the day i got mine, best day ever. if you wanna keep it clean and swirl free, you might wanna check out zaino products, pricey but well worth the money.

Congrats! I remember how excited I was when I got mine... best impulse buy ever as I was set on buying STi and changed my mind at last minute after test driving the G. Enjoy it and be safe.

Congrats on the new ride. I just picked up my black 6mt last Thursday and it was fill with dust by Friday. I must say it has been one of the best weeks of my life. I took some pics yesterday but the files were too big to be posted, hopefully I'll get them on tonight. Just one suggestion for you, make sure you spell Infiniti correctly before you get your *** chewed out like I did.

Dosa, nice ride...but a couple tips. DEFINITELY take Frostya's advice and get a clear bra. It is hardly noticable (i would say not even noticable at all) and even though it is expensive, it is well worth it. Also, if i were you, i would change out those side lights and get clear corners, as well as a z-tube, but you may not be into that whole modding thing. Awesome ride!

Thanks Hockey. I feel that an aftermarket alarm is one of my top priorities right now but I agree that a clear bra is essential especially in NY. I'll have to look into it. I already ordered clear corners from Grubbs a few days ago which is going to be my first mod lol.. not bad for 30 bucks ya know? I'm also going to get it tinted in a week or two.

As far as the z-tube, I was reading a few threads about it and looked around for it online.. Is the z-tube black in color? I also read about the k&n filter w/ the z-tube combo.. seems like a lot of people are getting good results with it.

Great car Dos, as a fellow 05 Black on Black Coupe owner also, I kept my car spotless as much as possible. I just want to warn you that the car brings a lot of attention and there are a ton of haters out there that want to ruin your car, so be careful. After 3 months of owning my car and being paranoid, someone finally vandalized my car and now the car is in the shop to get the hood repainted and front and rear bumper touched up. However, enjoy the car and after the break in period, drive the car like it's hell on wheels. Peace

Yeah dosa, Clear corners, clear bra and the JWT POP charger/z-tube combo kit is a great start. Its AMAZING how much of a sound difference it is when you get your RPM's high, it sounds like an explosion. Really cool. You alsot get a whistling noise from the POP charger, but thats normal. You can get the combo here:

Also, if you want an awesome guide (you have to register, but its worth it cause Speedy did a great job with the guide (props speedy . Take his advice in removing the drain under the air filter, the extra air flow really helps, even though it is a pain to take out. Its easy to install (some say 30 minutes, but I am retarded when it comes to installing stuff, so it took me an hour and a half, but I made sure everything was perfect) and the mod is well worth it. If you want any more help just ask, but I think you should do it. You should be REAL happy with the results , trust me. Here is speedy's guide if you want it (make sure you register).

Thx for the info Hockey. I received my Zaino package today and I used z2 and the z7 gloss spray.. wow does it make a difference! Zaino is friggin amazing!! Look at this pic of me toweling off the z2..

Here's a pic of my tints.. reflective during the day and black during the night:

This was taken after the polishing was done.. it's a bad pic because it's so dark but it was extremely glossy just for its first coat:
