Hey guys i was wondering what you guys use to keep the grill clean. I ran a search but couldnt find anything. My grill looks all dull now and not as shiny as it was when i got it. My coupe is only about 5 months old. When i wash my car, afterwards it looks like there is this weird haze on my grill that doenst come off with sopa and water. HELP me out guys, everything on my car is blingin except my grill.

It sounds like maybe the finish on yours is defective. I don't have that problem on my '04 and use just soap and water to clean it.

Detailing forum maybe?

I wash each opening on the grill, then polish it as I do the rest of the car. It glows.

When I got the car about 1400 miles ago, I put a coat of Mother's Sealer Glaze on it, and it's been waxed three times (so far) with Mother's Pure Carnuba. No problems. Bugs dont even stick - LOL.

Mine shines pretty well with just soap & water...do you think it might have gotten scratched up? Have you used dirty towels on it? Might be a ton of hairline scratches from that.

haven't had any problems so far. got about 1300miles on it, and been washed twice with soap and water. bring yours back to Infiniti dealer, and see what's up with the grill. see what they say.

i was actually looking at the grill again today you guys, it kinda looks like they may be water spots on the grill. do you guys know a good way of getting water spots off. the main thing is i dont want to take the finish off the grill with chemicals, do you guys know any safe cleaners out there that work on plastic?
